영천시는 29일 영천상공회의소 주관으로 열린 '기업인 현장소통 간담회'에 김병삼 영천시장과 손동기 영천상공회의소 회장, 상공의원, 영천시 기업유치과 관계자 등 40여 명이 참석했다고 밝혔다.

이번 간담회에서는 지역 기업들이 체감하는 경영 여건과 산업환경 변화, 기업지원 정책 등에 대한 의견이 공유됐다. 참석 기업인들은 기업 운영 과정에서 겪는 다양한 애로사항과 제도 개선이 필요한 부분을 건의했으며, 시는 관련 정책 추진 방향과 지원 계획을 설명하며 의견을 교환했다.

또한 참석자들은 지역경제 경쟁력 강화를 위해 행정과 기업 간 협력을 확대하는 방안에 대해서도 논의를 이어갔다. 현장 중심의 소통을 통해 기업이 필요로 하는 지원책을 발굴하고 실효성 있는 정책으로 연결하는 데 의견을 모았다.

김병삼 영천시장은 "기업 현장의 의견을 직접 들으며 필요한 지원이 무엇인지 다시 한번 확인하는 계기가 됐다"며 "현장에서 제시된 건의사항을 시정에 적극 반영하고 기업 활동에 도움이 되는 지원 정책을 지속적으로 확대해 기업하기 좋은 도시 조성에 힘쓰겠다"고 말했다.
