【브레이크뉴스 경산】진예솔 기자=경산시의회(의장 김인수)는 31일 제2차 본회의를 끝으로 10일간 이어진 제272회 임시회 일정을 마무리했다. 이번 임시회에서는 2026년도 제2회 추가경정예산안 1조 5,724억 원 등 총 10건의 안건이 처리됐으며, 이 가운데 9건이 원안대로, 1건이 수정되어 의결됐다.

경산시의회가 31일 제2차 본회의를 개최하고 제272회 임시회 일정을 공식적으로 마무리했다.  

이번 임시회에서는 2026년도 제2회 추가경정예산안과 함께 기금운용계획 변경안, 조례안, 일반안건 등이 심의·의결됐다.  

이 중 가장 눈길을 끈 2026년도 제2회 추가경정예산안은 기존 예산 1조 5,072억 원보다 652억 원(4.3%) 늘어난 1조 5,724억 원으로 최종 확정됐다. 예산결산특별위원회가 지난 30일 예산안을 심사한 뒤, 본회의에서 최종 의결이 이뤄졌다.  

이번 회기에서는 예산안 1건, 기금운용계획 변경안 3건, 조례안 3건, 일반안건 3건 등 총 10건이 상정됐다. 기금운용계획 변경안 3건, 조례안 2건, 일반안건 3건, 추가경정예산안까지 총 9건은 원안대로 가결됐다. 반면 ‘경산시 부조리신고 보상금 지급 조례 일부개정조례안’은 심의 과정에서 부분적인 수정 후 의결됐다.  

이날 본회의에서는 5분 자유발언도 진행됐다. 양재영 의원은 법치행정의 중요성을 강조하며 행정의 공정성과 신뢰 회복을 촉구했다. 이상열 의원은 대구도시철도 1호선 영천 연장사업과 관련해 경산시의 적극적인 역할을 당부했다.  

산업건설위원회 부위원장으로 이성일 의원을 새롭게 선출하는 안건도 처리됐다.  

김인수 의장은 폐회사를 통해 "이번 임시회는 새롭게 출범한 제10대 경산시의회가 시민 여러분 앞에 선보이는 첫 번째 회기였다"며 "앞으로 더욱 성숙하고 책임 있는 의정활동으로 시민 기대에 부응하겠다"고 밝혔다.  

이어 "기록적인 폭염이 이어지고 있는 만큼 집행부는 폭염 취약계층 보호와 시민 안전 확보에 각별히 힘써달라"고 당부하며 "확정된 추가경정예산이 지역 경제 회복과 시민 생활 안정에 신속히 쓰일 수 있도록 시의회도 지속적으로 점검하겠다"고 강조했다.

Five-minute free speeches were also held at the plenary session on this day. Council Member Yang Jae-young emphasized the importance of the rule of law in administration and urged the restoration of fairness and trust in the administration. Council Member Lee Sang-yeol requested an active role from Gyeongsan City regarding the extension project of Daegu Metro Line 1 to Yeongcheon.

The agenda item to elect Council Member Lee Seong-il as the new Vice Chairman of the Industry and Construction Committee was also processed.

In his closing remarks, Chairman Kim In-soo stated, "This extraordinary session was the first session in which the newly inaugurated 10th Gyeongsan City Council presented itself to the citizens," adding, "We will meet the expectations of citizens through more mature and responsible legislative activities in the future."

He further urged the executive branch to "make special efforts to protect vulnerable groups and ensure citizen safety, given the continuing record-breaking heatwave," and emphasized, "The City Council will also continuously monitor the situation to ensure that the approved supplementary budget is promptly utilized for the recovery of the local economy and the stabilization of citizens' lives."
