청송군보건의료원은 지난 5월 16일부터 7월 31일까지 약 2개월 반 동안 진행한 '2026년 지역사회건강조사'를 성공적으로 마쳤다고 밝혔다. 이번 조사에서는 당초 목표였던 872명의 조사 대상자를 모두 확보했다.

지역사회건강조사는 '지역보건법' 제19조에 근거해 매년 실시되는 국가승인 통계조사로, 지역 주민의 건강 수준과 건강행태를 파악해 시·군·구 단위 보건의료계획 수립과 각종 보건사업의 효과를 평가하는 데 활용된다.

조사는 전문 교육을 이수한 조사원이 표본으로 선정된 가구를 직접 방문해 일대일 면접 방식으로 진행됐다. 조사 내용에는 흡연과 음주, 신체활동, 영양 상태 등 건강생활 습관을 비롯해 고혈압·당뇨병 등 만성질환 유병 여부, 의료서비스 이용 현황, 삶의 질 등 주민 건강과 관련된 다양한 항목이 포함됐다.

청송군보건의료원은 이번 조사 결과를 지역 특성을 반영한 건강 실태 분석과 보건의료계획 수립의 기초자료로 활용할 계획이다. 또한 지역 내 건강 문제를 보다 세밀하게 파악해 주민이 체감할 수 있는 맞춤형 건강증진사업과 의료서비스 개선 정책을 마련하는 데 적극 반영할 방침이다.

청송군보건의료원 관계자는 "조사 기간 동안 적극적으로 참여해 준 군민들에게 감사드린다"며 "지역사회건강조사는 매년 무작위로 선정된 표본가구를 대상으로 실시되는 국가승인 통계조사인 만큼 앞으로도 군민 건강 증진과 보건의료 서비스 향상을 위해 지속적인 관심과 협조를 부탁드린다"고 말했다.
