【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=경북 영덕군이 고물가 상황 속 서민 물가 안정과 지역 상권 활성화를 위해 ‘착한가격업소’ 신규 모집에 나선다.

영덕군은 관내 개인서비스업을 대상으로 다음 달 30일까지 착한가격업소 신규 지정 신청을 접수한다고 밝혔다.

모집 대상은 지역 내 음식점, 이·미용업 등 개인서비스 업종이며, 올해 총 7개소를 새롭게 선정할 예정이다.

착한가격업소로 최종 지정되면 맞춤형 물품 지원이 이뤄진다. 지정 업소에는 연간 85만 원 상당의 쌀, 종량제 봉투 등 영업 맞춤형 인센티브가 제공되며, 전용 현판 교부와 함께 영덕군 공식 누리집 및 각종 매체를 통한 홍보 혜택이 주어진다.

심사는 가격 수준의 적정성, 매장 위생·청결도 등을 종합적으로 측정해 진행된다. 총점 50점 중 40점 이상을 획득해야 하며, 지역화폐 가맹 등록 여부, 지역 특화 자원 활용, 지역사회 기여도 등에 따라 가산점이 차등 적용된다.

단, 최근 2년 이내 행정처분이나 과태료 부과 이력이 있는 업소 및 프랜차이즈 가맹점 등은 신청 대상에서 제외된다. 접수된 업소가 계획된 지정 규모를 초과할 경우에는 접수순을 기준으로 우선 평가해 선정한다.

참여를 원하는 사업자는 신청서와 사업자등록증 등 증빙 서류를 준비해 영덕군청 일자리경제과(새마을경제팀)를 방문하거나 우편, 이메일로 제출하면 된다.

현재 영덕군 내에는 총 10곳의 착한가격업소가 운영되고 있다. 군 관계자는 이번 지정을 통해 지역 내 합리적인 가격 형성 분위기를 유도하고 소비자의 물가 부담을 줄이는 데 기여할 것으로 전망했다.

Yeongdeok County, North Gyeongsang Province, is launching a recruitment drive for new ‘Good Price Businesses’ to stabilize prices for ordinary citizens and revitalize local commercial districts amidst high inflation.

Yeongdeok County announced that it will accept applications for new designation as Good Price Businesses until the 30th of next month, targeting local personal service businesses.

The recruitment targets personal service sectors such as local restaurants and hair and beauty salons, and a total of seven new establishments are scheduled to be selected this year.

Businesses finally designated as Good Price Businesses will receive customized support in the form of supplies. Designated establishments will be provided with business-tailored incentives worth approximately 850,000 won annually, including rice and standardized waste bags. They will also receive dedicated signboards and promotional benefits through the official Yeongdeok County website and various media outlets.

The evaluation will be conducted by comprehensively assessing factors such as the appropriateness of price levels and store hygiene and cleanliness. Applicants must obtain at least 40 points out of a total of 50, and additional points are applied differentially based on factors such as local currency merchant registration, utilization of local specialized resources, and contribution to the local community.

However, businesses with a history of administrative sanctions or fines imposed within the last two years, as well as franchise outlets, are excluded from eligibility. If the number of applicants exceeds the planned designation quota, priority will be given to those evaluated in the order of application submission.

Business owners wishing to participate should prepare an application form and supporting documents, such as a business registration certificate, and submit them by visiting the Jobs and Economy Division (Saemaul Economy Team) at the Yeongdeok County Office, or via mail or email.

Currently, a total of 10 "Good Price Businesses" are operating within Yeongdeok County. County officials anticipate that this designation will encourage a local atmosphere of reasonable pricing and contribute to reducing the burden of rising prices on consumers.
