대구시교육청은 14일, 2024년 상반기 적극행정 우수공무원에 개인 6명과 단체 2곳을 뽑았다고 밝혔다.

개인 부문 최우수상은 교육시설과 이창용 주무관이 차지했다. 이 주무관은 학교 창호를 모두 철거·교체하는 대신 기존 자재를 보강하는 방안을 도입해 성능을 높이고, 예산 약 4억3천만원을 절감했다. 이같은 혁신적인 방법 덕분에 공사 기간도 크게 줄었다.

우수상에는 박보교 교육시설과 주무관과 신숙영 미래교육과 장학사가 선정됐다. 박 주무관은 학교가 직접 참여하는 '사용자 기획형 시설지원사업'을 추진했으며, 신 장학사는 QR 기반 통합 플랫폼을 활용해 나라사랑 계기교육 자료와 학생 참여 수업모델을 개발했다.

장려상은 교육공간 부족 문제 해결을 위해 대체 공간을 마련, 119회에 걸쳐 체육활동을 지원한 달성중 곽봉준 교사에게 돌아갔다. 이밖에도 이경국 미래학교추진단 교사는 체험형 공간교육 자료를 개발했고, 동부교육지원청 이만호 주무관은 위험도에 따라 3단계로 구분한 안전점검 시스템을 도입했다.

단체 부문에서는 교육연수원 총무부 행정연수담당과 동부교육지원청 재정평생교육과가 뽑혔다. 교육연수원은 짧은 시간에 학습할 수 있는 마이크로러닝 콘텐츠를 자체 제작해 직무학습 체계를 세웠고, 동부교육지원청은 학원 및 취업제한 관련 점검 확대와 함께 사전 예방 중심의 관리체계까지 마련했다.

대구시교육청은 심사 과정에서 적극성과 창의성, 전문성은 물론 교육수요자의 체감도, 업무 난이도, 타 분야로의 확산 가능성까지 두루 평가했다고 설명했다.

수상자에게는 교육감 표창과 인사 인센티브, 포상휴가 등이 주어지고, 단체에는 포상금이 지급된다.

강은희 교육감은 “이번 적극행정 우수사례들은 실제 현장의 문제를 세심하게 들여다보고 새로운 해법을 찾은 결과”라며 “앞으로도 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울여 학생과 교육공동체 모두가 변화를 직접 느낄 수 있도록 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

대구시교육청은 앞으로도 우수사례를 공유하고 관련 정책에 적극 반영할 계획이다.

In the group category, the Administrative Training Division of the General Affairs Department at the Education Training Institute and the Finance and Lifelong Education Division of the Dongbu Office of Education were selected. The Education Training Institute established a job training system by producing microlearning content that allows for learning in a short amount of time, while the Dongbu Office of Education expanded inspections related to private academies and employment restrictions, and also established a management system focused on proactive prevention.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education explained that during the evaluation process, they comprehensively assessed not only proactiveness, creativity, and professionalism, but also the impact on educational stakeholders, the difficulty of the work, and the potential for expansion to other fields.

Award winners will receive a commendation from the Superintendent, personnel incentives, and reward leave, while the groups will be awarded cash prizes.

Superintendent Kang Eun-hee stated, “These outstanding examples of proactive administration are the result of carefully examining real-world issues and finding new solutions,” adding, “We will continue to listen to the voices from the field and strive to ensure that both students and the educational community can directly experience the changes.”
