평가는 ▲목표 설정의 명확성 ▲우선순위의 타당성 ▲이행 절차의 체계성 ▲추진 기한의 합리성 ▲재원 조달 대책의 안정성 ▲비전 부합성 ▲민주적 작성 절차 등 7개 분야를 엄격히 검토해 진행됐다.

평가 결과 추경호 대구시장은 공약의 명확성과 작성 과정에서의 민주적 절차를 대외적으로 공인받아, 전국 광역 시·도지사 대상 ‘선거공약서’ 분야에서 세종·충남과 함께 우수 수상자로 이름을 올렸다.

대구시는 이번 수상을 발판 삼아 민선 9기 시정 목표인 ‘변화와 성장, 더 나은 내일’을 구체화하고, 공약 사업이 체계적인 성과로 이어질 수 있도록 시민들이 직접 참여하는 공약 이행 점검 체계를 더욱 고도화할 계획이다.

The Manifesto Headquarters finalized the award winners after conducting a first-round comprehensive survey and a second-round review of official documents regarding the pledge materials of elected heads of metropolitan and local governments and superintendents of education nationwide.
