【브레이크뉴스대구경 】이성현 기자=대구광역시와 경상북도가 정부의 국가균형발전 전략에 힘입어 대한민국을 대표하는 첨단산업의 핵심 거점으로 발돋움한다. 

산업통상자원부는 26일 청와대에서 개최된 제10회 중앙지방협력회의에서‘3대 메가프로젝트 연계 권역별 성장엔진 육성방안’을 공식 발표했다. 

이번 방안은 수도권 집중 현상을 완화하고 지역 주도의 성장을 도모하는‘5극 3특’정책의 구체적 실행 방안으로 대경권은‘첨단 소재부품·인공지능(AI)로봇 중심지’라는 비전에 따른 4개 핵심 전략산업을 최종 확정받았다. 

정부안을 구체적으로 살펴보면 1) 미래모빌리티분야에서는 차세대 이동수단 부품 생태계 조성 및 공급망을 강화하고 2) 로봇 분야에서는 AI 기반 휴머노이드 및 산업용 로봇 제조 기술 고도화를 3) 반도체는 첨단 소재·부품 중심의 공급기지 확충이라는 목표가 제시됐고, 이차전지는 소재 생산부터 배터리 리사이클링까지 밸류체인 구축안이 제시됐다. 

정부는 이들 선정된 산업을 육성하기 위해 재정·금융·세제 지원, 규제 특례, 인재 양성 및 인프라 구축 등‘3축 7종 지원 패키지’를 전폭 투입할 계획이다. 

아울러 기업 투자를 유도하기 위한‘메가 특구 특별법’제정도 속도감 있게 추진한다. 대구시와 경북도는 선정을 계기로‘대경권 성장엔진 육성계획 공동기획단’을 구성하고 실효성 있는 세부 실행안 마련에 나선다. 

공동기획단에는 산업별 전문 분과를 두고 지역 혁신기관과 앵커 기업이 참여해 유기적인 협력체계를 구축한다. 

이철우 경상북도지사는 “이번 성과는 대구와 경북이 긴밀히 협력해 온 초광역 공조의 결과”라며“앵커기업 유치와 실질적인 국비 지원이 지역 경제 활성화로 이어지도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.

Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk Province are poised to emerge as key hubs for Korea's representative high-tech industries, bolstered by the government's National Balanced Development Strategy.

On the 26th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy officially announced the "Plan to Foster Regional Growth Engines Linked to Three Major Mega-Projects" at the 10th Central-Local Cooperation Meeting held at the Blue House.

As a concrete implementation plan for the "5 Poles, 3 Specials" policy, which aims to alleviate the concentration of power in the capital area and promote region-led growth, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region has finalized four core strategic industries based on its vision of becoming a "Center for Advanced Materials, Components, and AI Robots." Looking specifically at the government proposal, the goals presented are: 1) establishing an ecosystem for next-generation mobility components and strengthening the supply chain in the future mobility sector; 2) advancing manufacturing technologies for AI-based humanoid and industrial robots in the robotics sector; and 3) expanding supply bases centered on advanced materials and components in the semiconductor sector. For secondary batteries, a plan to establish a value chain ranging from material production to battery recycling has been presented.

To foster these selected industries, the government plans to fully invest in a "3-Axis, 7-Type Support Package," which includes fiscal, financial, and tax support, regulatory exemptions, talent development, and infrastructure construction.

In addition, the enactment of a "Special Act on Mega Special Zones" to induce corporate investment will be pursued with speed. Taking advantage of the selection, Daegu City and Gyeongbuk Province will form the "Daegyeong Region Growth Engine Development Plan Joint Planning Team" to prepare effective, detailed implementation plans.

The Joint Planning Team will feature specialized subcommittees for each industry, with the participation of regional innovation institutions and anchor companies to establish an organic cooperative system. North Gyeongsang Province Governor Lee Cheol-woo emphasized, “This achievement is the result of super-regional cooperation between Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province working closely together,” adding, “We will do our utmost to ensure that attracting anchor companies and providing substantial state funding lead to the revitalization of the local economy.”
