The Ambassador for International Relations will support Daegu City's international exchanges and external cooperation, while also playing a role in economic and trade cooperation utilizing his overseas network.

New Ambassador for International Relations Lee Sang-hwa stated, "I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize my diplomatic experience in Daegu," adding, "I will contribute to enhancing Daegu's economic diplomacy capabilities based on the experience and network I built in the field of diplomacy."
