선린대학교에 따르면 K-Safety 지역협력교육센터는 8월 20일과 21일, 9월 4일 센터에서 ‘지역 응급의료 대응체계 활성화를 위한 한국형 전문소생술 자격 취득 프로그램’을 진행했다.

이번 교육은 경북 지역성장 인재양성체계(앵커) 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다. 지역 의료종사자들이 재난이나 응급상황에서 보다 효과적으로 대처할 수 있도록 전문소생술에 대한 이론과 현장 실무교육을 함께 제공하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

교육에는 포항성모병원과 에스포항병원 소속 간호사 49명이 참여했다. 참가자들은 전문소생술 이론을 비롯해 실습과 시뮬레이션 교육을 이수한 뒤 평가 과정까지 진행하며 실제 심정지 상황 등에 필요한 대응 절차와 술기를 익혔다.

특히 실제 응급상황을 가정한 시뮬레이션을 통해 의료현장에서 요구되는 신속한 판단과 정확한 처치 능력을 점검했다. 이를 통해 교육 내용을 단순히 이론으로 습득하는 데 그치지 않고 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 실무역량을 높이는 데 교육의 비중을 뒀다.

교육에 참여한 간호사들은 응급상황을 가정한 반복적인 실습을 통해 전문소생술 수행 과정에 대한 이해를 높이고 현장 대응에 대한 자신감을 키우는 데 도움이 됐다는 반응을 보였다.

최효진 선린대학교 K-Safety 지역협력교육센터장은 “이번 교육이 지역 의료종사자들의 응급상황 대응능력을 높이는 계기가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 안전·응급의료 교육을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

K-Safety 지역협력교육센터는 앞으로도 지역 의료인력을 대상으로 응급·재난 상황에 필요한 실무교육을 이어가며 지역사회 응급의료 대응역량 강화에 나설 예정이다.

Sunlin University’s K-Safety Regional Cooperation Education Center operated an advanced resuscitation training program to enhance the emergency response capabilities of local medical sites.

According to Sunlin University, the K-Safety Regional Cooperation Education Center conducted the "Korean-style Advanced Resuscitation Certification Program for the Activation of the Regional Emergency Medical Response System" at the center on August 20, 21, and September 4.

This training was organized as part of the Gyeongbuk Regional Growth Talent Development System (Anchor) project. The focus was on providing both theoretical and practical field training in advanced resuscitation to enable local medical professionals to respond more effectively to disasters or emergencies.

Forty-nine nurses from Pohang St. Mary's Hospital and S-Pohang Hospital participated in the training. Participants mastered the response procedures and skills necessary for actual cardiac arrest situations by completing advanced resuscitation theory, practical training, simulations, and evaluation processes. In particular, the training assessed the ability to make rapid judgments and provide accurate treatment required in the medical field through simulations simulating actual emergency situations. Through this, the focus of the education was placed on enhancing practical capabilities applicable in the field, rather than merely allowing participants to acquire theoretical knowledge.

Nurses participating in the training responded that the repetitive practice simulating emergency situations helped them deepen their understanding of the advanced resuscitation (SR) process and build confidence in responding to emergencies.

Choi Hyo-jin, Director of the K-Safety Regional Cooperation Education Center at Sunlin University, stated, "This training served as an opportunity to enhance the emergency response capabilities of local medical professionals," adding, "We will continue to expand safety and emergency medical education that can be utilized in the field."

The K-Safety Regional Cooperation Education Center plans to continue providing practical training necessary for emergency and disaster situations to local medical personnel, aiming to strengthen the emergency medical response capabilities of the local community.
