【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구 숙천동에 위치한 와글와글아이세상에서 인공지능(AI) 시대를 살아가는 어린이들에게 독서와 글쓰기가 어떤 의미를 갖는지 짚어보는 인문학 콘서트가 열린다.

이번 행사는 대구행복진흥원이 대구시의 위탁을 받아 운영하는 와글와글아이세상이 마련했다. 오는 19일 오후 2시부터 4시까지 두근두근 소극장에서 ‘AI 시대에도 흔들리지 않는 독서의 힘’을 주제로 진행될 예정이다.

AI 기술이 일상에 빠르게 스며들고 있는 요즘, 주최 측은 초등학생들에게 꼭 필요한 독서와 글쓰기의 가치를 다시 생각해보고, 가정에서도 쉽게 실천할 수 있는 독서교육 방법을 함께 모색해보자는 취지로 이번 콘서트를 준비했다.

이날 강연에는 전직 초등교사이자 자녀교육서 저자로 활동 중인 이은경 작가가 연사로 나선다. 이 작가는 그간 교직 현장에서 쌓은 경험을 바탕으로, 초등학생들을 위한 독서와 글쓰기 교육, 그리고 자녀교육에 관한 다양한 이야기를 들려줄 계획이다.

강연에서는 AI 시대에 아이들이 갖춰야 할 독서와 글쓰기 습관, 독서가 사고력에 끼치는 영향, 그리고 가정에서 실천할 수 있는 구체적인 독서교육 방법 등에 대해 다룰 예정이다.

현장에서는 참가자를 위한 도서 증정 SNS 이벤트도 진행된다.

행사에는 초등학생과 보호자를 비롯한 지역 주민 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 정원은 50명으로 제한된다. 참가비는 없으며, 초등학교 5학년 이상 학생은 보호자 없이도 참가할 수 있다.

The event was organized by "Wageul-Wageul Child World," which is operated by the Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency under a commission from Daegu City. It is scheduled to take place on the 19th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the "Dugeun-Dugeun" Small Theater, centering on the theme: "The Power of Reading That Remains Steadfast in the AI ​​Era."

As AI technology rapidly permeates daily life, the organizers prepared this concert to encourage a re-examination of the essential value of reading and writing for elementary school students and to explore practical reading education methods that can easily be implemented at home.

Author Lee Eun-kyung, a former elementary school teacher and writer of books on child education, will serve as the speaker. Drawing on her teaching experience, she plans to share insights on reading and writing education for elementary students as well as general advice on child education.

The lecture will cover topics such as the reading and writing habits children need to cultivate in the AI ​​era, the impact of reading on critical thinking skills, and specific, actionable reading education methods for the home.

An on-site social media event offering book giveaways for participants will also be held.

Local residents, including elementary school students and their guardians, are welcome to attend; however, participation is limited to 50 people. There is no participation fee, and students in the fifth grade of elementary school or higher may attend without a guardian.
