Yearning(Ever Harvest Gallery, 타이페이), 2015년 The Wolf and the Tiger(Nuseo Della Permanete, 밀라노) 등 국내 뿐 아니라 세계 각지에서 180여 차례의 개인전과 그룹전을 가졌다.

Daegu Health University Indang Museum, Park Sun-ki's Invitational Exhibition “SPACE”

[Break News Daegu] Reporter Lee Seong-hyun = Daegu Health University (President Nam Nam-hee) The Indang Museum announced on the 26th that it will hold'SPACE', a special invitational exhibition by artist Park Sun-ki until January 20, starting at 5 pm on the 27th.

This invitational exhibition is a large-scale exhibition where you can meet the works of artist Park Seon-ki, who realized the direction of space by utilizing space, light, and reflection. Six installation works and two sculpture works, including a collection of installations in which charcoal is hung in a transparent nylon thread, a room in which mirror boxes are stacked or arranged, and a room where small balls are constantly being repeated and sucked into the apex, will be shown in the Indang Museum lobby and 5 exhibition rooms. .

Artist Park Seon-ki's work is very intelligent and seems to be the result of scientific calculation, but the form is not the ultimate purpose, but a device for participation. By mobilizing geometric shapes, mirror reflectors, and light that completely exclude emotions, they cross the boundaries of perception and perception of space and dismantle the boundaries between real and virtual. By walking into the work, the viewer becomes an element that composes a part of the work, and experiences a “space in space” created by the intervention and interference of light.

Artist Park Seon-ki graduated from Chung-Ang University's Department of Sculpture and graduated from Milan State University in Italy. The exhibitions held were Dae Goryeo in 2019 (National Museum of Korea, Seoul), Art Mining in 2018 (Grand Palais, Paris), Nature in 2017 (Gallery BK, Seoul), Dangling.Yearning in 2016 (Ever Harvest Gallery, Taipei), In 2015, the Wolf and the Tiger (Nuseo Della Permanete, Milan) held 180 solo and group exhibitions in Korea as well as around the world.

Art critic Taeman Choi said, “Artist Park Seon-ki's work is a threshold that enters the world of pure perception, which is experienced not with emotions or logic, but with the body. When visitors cross the boundary, they converge to a point or expand infinitely as a component of the work. It will help you find yourself standing in the space where you become,” he said. “Since the process of participation is important in his work, the subject in the work does not disappear, but rather, you can experience a different experience as part of the work.”

The Daegu Health University Indang Museum is conducted by reservation system for the distribution of visitors and safe viewing by time. Admission is free and is closed every Sunday. Advance reservations can be made on the Daegu Health University Indang Museum website or by phone.
