【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희) 교수학습지원센터는 지난 3일 본관 3층 대회의실에서 교수 40여명이 참석한 가운데‘AR, VR, MR을 활용한 솔루션 이해와 교육적 활용’특강을 개최했다고 지난 4일 밝혔다.

이번 특강은 전문대학 혁신지원사업의 일환으로 4차 산업혁명시대를 대비한 교육환경 구축을 위해 가상현실 기반 온라인 교육 플랫폼과 온라인 콘텐츠 개발 가능성에 대한 정보를 얻고자 마련됐다.

이날 강의를 맡은 한현정 ㈜빅토리아프로덕션 대표이사는 종이책에 증강현실을 최초로 도입한 개척자로 증강현실(AR, Augmented Reality), 가상현실(VR, Virtual Reality), 혼합현실(MR, Mixed Reality)이 교육에 접목시킬 수 있는 다양한 사례를 소개했다.

특히 증강현실이 종이책 뿐 만 아니라 벽지나 바닥매트 등 눈에 보이는 모두 곳에서 표현 가능 한 점을 강조했다. 현재 상용화되고 있는 명함, 신문, 체험관 등을 예를 들며 AR·VR·MR이 대학 내 강의에 접목될 수 있는 범위와 활용법, 상용화를 위한 방법에 대해서도 설명했다.

행사를 주관한 최선영 교수학습지원센터장(임상병리과 교수)은“가상현실 기술은 포스트코로나 이후 사회적 거리 두기의 보편화와 이동제한에 따른 시간과 공간의 제약을 극복하고 일반강의 뿐 아니라 실습 등 다양한 분야에서 응용이 가능하다“며“비대면 원격강의를 뛰어넘는 교수법으로 4차 산업혁명시대와 With코로나시대를 이끄는원격교육의 중심대학이 되겠다”고 전했다.
