대구보건대학교는 신규 임용된 보건진료 전담공무원 25명을 대상으로 21일부터 내년 5월 7일까지 전문교육이론 4주, 임상실습 10주, 현지실습 6주로 총 20주간 직무교육 실시한다.

이번 직무교육에서는 보건진료 전담공무원으로서 국가의 의료정책을 이해하고 농·어촌 보건의료 취약지역에 세워진 보건기관에서 1차 진료의 역할 뿐만 아니라 건강증진 사업 기획 등 수행자로서의 역량도 갖추도록 프로그램을 운영한다.

특히 감염병 대응 역량 강화를 위해 임상실습에 초점을 맞추어 재난의료 전문 인력으로 공공보건 분야의 역할을 담당할 있도록 교육과정을 강화할 예정이다.

직무교육을 받은 전담공무원들은 농어촌지역의 보건의료체계 최전선에서 의료서비스를 제공할 계획이다. 신종 감염병의 영향을 최소화하고 주민들의 불안함을 해소시켜 일상생활에 불편함이 없도록‘건강지킴이’로서의 역할을 수행하게 된다.
