포항시는 지난 9일 시청 소회의실에서 ‘제8기 포항시 생활공감정책 참여단’ 위촉장 수여식 및 간담회를 개최했다 11일 밝혔다.
생활공감정책 참여단은 현재 광화문1번가의 소통 창구를 통해 정책참여역할을 하고 있으며, 일상생활 속 작지만 가치 있는 정책 개선사항을 발굴해 제안하고 정책현장에 참여하는 등 다양한 활동을 추진한다.
이날 참석한 제8기 포항시 생활공감정책 참여단들은 앞으로 2년간 활발한 활동을 통해 시정발전의 견인차 역할을 하게 된다.
김병삼 부시장은 “참여단이 시정발전을 위해 제안하는 생활공감 아이디어가 포항시민 모두의 일상을 바꿀 수 있다”며 “포항시민이 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 많은 노력을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
한편, 생활공감정책 참여단은 지난해 포항교도소 장애수용인 상담, 지역 문화재 환경정비 등의 봉사활동과 생활밀착형 아이디어 정책제안 등 활발하게 활동하고 있다.
