포스코는 18일 서울 가든호텔에서 고용노동부 주관으로 개최된 2020년 중소기업 컨소시엄 교육사업 평가 시상식에서 최우수 기관상을 3년 연속 수상했다고 18일 밝혔다.
컨소시엄 사업은 대기업의 우수한 교육 인프라를 활용해 중소기업 직원들에게 양질의 교육기회를 제공하기 위해 중소기업과 컨소시엄을 구성하여 무상으로 교육, 훈련하고 정부로부터 일부 교육운영비를 지원받는 사업이다.
고용노동부는 국가인적자원개발 컨소시엄 교육기관을 대상으로 참여 기관을 격려하고 우수 사례를 공유하기 위해 2019년부터 최우수 기관을 선정하고 시상식을 실시하고 있다. 최우수 기관 선정은 교육과정 개발, 훈련실적, 전담자 전문성, 교육 만족도 등을 종합 산정·평가하여 이루어진다.
청년 구직자 취업 지원 교육의 경우, 교육인원을 지난해보다 늘리고 채용연계 회사도 협력사에서 공급사, 중소기업으로 확대하는 등 우수인력 확보가 어려운 협력사·중소기업을 지원함으로써 정부의 청년 일자리 창출 정책에 적극 동참한다는 방침이다.
