포항상공회의소(회장 문충도)는 지난 27일 포스코국제관에서 상공의원, 회원업체 대표 및 임원, 중소기업 대표 및 여성기업인들이 참석한 가운데제12회포항경제 아카데미를 개강했다고 28일 밝혔다.

경영환경에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 능력을 배양하고, 합리적인 의사결정 및 전문지식 습득으로 경영능력을 향상시키는데 도움을 주고자 개설된이번 포항경제 아카데미는 10월 27일부터 12월 1일까지 6주 동안 실시된다.

강사진에는 민경준 포스코케미칼 대표이사 사장, 박성진포스코 산학연협력실 실장, 유명훈 KOREACSR 대표, 신병주 건국대학교 사학과교수, 최재붕 성균관대학교 기계공학부 교수, 김상윤 중앙대 컴퓨터공학과 교수등 각계 전문가들로 구성되어 있다.

이날 개강식에서 민경준 포스코케미칼 대표이사 사장은 ‘이차전지의윈리와응용’을 주제로 이차전지의 시장 및 기술개발 동향, 작동원리 등에 대해 참석자들이 이해하기 쉽게 강의했다.

또한, 민경준 대표이사는 이차전지 시장에 대해 “전기차(EV) 및 전력저장장치(ESS) 수요 증가로 양⋅음극재 시장이 지속적으로 성장할 것”으로 전망하면서, 포스코케미칼은 이차전지소재 Full Value Chain 구축으로글로벌 Top Player 도약을 목표로 하고 있다고 에너지 소재산업 비전을 제시했다.

금번, 경제 아카데미는 정부 및 지자체의 사회적 거리두기 방침에 따라 참여인원을 축소하였으며, 마스크 착용, 발열체크, 손소독 및 참석자간 거리두기 등을 통해 코로나19 예방에 만전을 기하면서 진행했다.

한편, 다음 강의는 11월 3일 19시에 박성진 포스코 산학연협력실 실장을 초빙하여 ‘미래사회와 포항(벤처생태계와 개방형 협업)’이라는 주제로 진행될 예정이다.
