포항해양경찰서(서장 한상철)는 11월8일부터13일까지 5일간 연안사고 위험예보제‘주의보’단계를발령 한다고밝혔다.

이번 ‘주의보’는 동해 해상에 강한 바람과높은파도가예상되어 연안해역 안전사고 예방 및 안전관리 강화를 위해 발령됐다.

연안사고 위험예보란 기상특보 또는 자연재난으로 인한 피해 발생이 예상될 경우 그 위험성을 3단계인, ‘관심’,‘주의보’,‘경보’로 구분해국민에게 알리는 것을 말한다.

포항해양경찰서장은 “연안해역 안전사고 예방을 위해 풍랑특보 및 너울성 파도 예보시에는 해상 기상이 매우 나빠지고, 해안 저지대나 방파제에는 높은파도 및 너울성 파도로 인한 안전사고 발생 가능성이 높으므로 국민들 스스로가 방파제 및 갯바위 등 출입을 자제하고, 안전요원의 통제에 적극 협조하여 줄 것”을 당부했다..
