울진군(군수 전찬걸)은 연말연시 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 관광객들이 많이 찾는 울진군 주요 해맞이 명소 9곳에 대해 전면 출입통제한다고 30일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 해맞이 명소마다 출입금지 현수막이 게시되며 관광객이 접근하지 못하도록 접근금지선 등이 설치된다.

출입이 통제되는 곳은 울진항, 망양정해수욕장, 월송정일원, 북면도류제, 봉평해수욕장, 후정해수욕장, 오산항 방파제일원, 구산해수욕장, 후포 등기산공원 등 9곳이며, 통제기간은 12월 31일 오후6시부터 내년 1월 1일 오전 9시까지이다.

이번 해맞이명소 통제는 울진관내 코로나 지역감염이 연이어 지속됨에 따라 코로나19 추가확산을 방지하기 위한 대책이며, 읍면별 점검반을 편성하여 방역조치 및 현장점검을 실시할 예정이다.

전찬걸 울진군수는 “고령인구가 많은 지역 특성상 군민들의 안전이 최우선인 만큼 해맞이 명소 출입을 통제하기로 결정했다”며“관광객들의 양해와 방역수칙 준수를 부탁드린다.”고 당부했다.
