경북도립대학교(총장 김상동)가 대학 자율 혁신 역량 강화를 위한 혁신방안 토론회를 개최했다.

지난 20일부터 21일까지 이틀 간 경주 더케이호텔에서 열린 이번 토론회에는 경북도립대학교 총장, 부서장, 교수, 대학 직원 등 40여 명이 참석했다.

행사는 부서별 성과 보고를 시작으로 대구경북연구원 김병태 연구위원의‘도청 신도시 거점기능 강화 방향’에 대한 주제발표가 진행 되었다.

발표에 이어 김규덕 기획홍보처장이 좌장을 맡아 진행된 대학 발전방안 자유 토론에서는 ‘신도시 거점대학으로서 도립대의 역할’, ‘대학의 기능 재편을 통한 발전방안 모색’, ‘대학 자체 혁신을 통한 경쟁력 강화 방안’ 등 대학 발전과 변화에 대한 심도 있는 토론이 이루어졌다. 

김상동 총장은 “이번 토론회는 우리 경북도립대학교가 새롭게 나아갈 방향을 설정하고 고민하는 자리였다”라며 “제시된 구성원들의 다양한 의견을 수렴하여 대학의 자율 혁신과 역량 강화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

An in-depth discussion took place on the development and change of the university.

President Kim Sang-dong said, “This discussion was a place to set a new direction for Kyungpook National University and to contemplate,” he said.
