군에 따르면 이번에 지급되는 생활안전지원금(주거비)는 기존 지원금에 추가지원이 더해진 금액으로 전파 3,800만원, 반파 1,900만원, 소규모 소실 150만원이 지원된다.

세입자의 경우 이사할 주택의 보증금과 6개월간 임대료를 비교하여 더 많은 금액을 기준으로 최대 900만원까지 지급할 예정이다.

엄기연 열린민원과장은 “생활안정지원금의 지급을 통해 피해 주민들이 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있는 길이 빨라지기를 기대한다”고 전했다.

한편, 울진군은 지난 12일 주택 피해 주민을 대상으로 모금기관별 성금으로 전파 5,200만원, 반파 3,100만원, 부분소 1,150만원, 세입자 2,500만원을 지급한 바 있다.
