【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=국립공원공단 경주국립공원사무소(소장 박영준)는 지난 9일사무소 대회의실에서 경주국립공원 시민대학 13기 졸업식을 가졌다고 10일 밝혔다.

시민대학 13기 수강생들은 국립공원의 제도와 정책, 역사문화, 자연생태 및 기후변화와 탄소중립 실천 방법 등 총 10주의 교육과정을 이수하였으며, 수강생 30명 전원이 시민대학 학위 증서를 수여받았다.

경주국립공원 시민대학은 2010년부터 운영되어 올해까지 총 425명의졸업생을 배출하였으며, 졸업생은 앞으로 공원자원 모니터링, 환경보전 등 국립공원을 위한 활동을 지속적으로 펼칠 예정이다.

시민대학 13기 수강생 대표 이영수 회장은 “시민대학의 수준 높은 강의를통해 학문적 깊이 뿐 아니라 환경보전에 대한 이해를 통해 국립공원이우리가 함께 지켜 미래세대에 온전히 물려주어야 할 소중한보물이라는 것을 느낄 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었다.”고 말했다.
