포스코는 2010년부터 매년 6월중 특별 봉사활동 주간을 선정해 국내외 그룹사 임직원 전원이 참여하는 '글로벌 모범시민 위크'를 개최해 오고 있다.
올해 ‘글로벌 모범시민 위크’는 6월 14일부터 25일까지 12일간 이어지며, 전 세계 6만 3천여명의 임직원들이 각 지역 내 소외계층 돌봄 · 생태 보전 · 지역 복지기관 지원 등 1,000건 이상의 다양한 봉사활동을 펼친다.
