【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회 문화복지위원회(위원장 임태섭)는 지난 25일 임청각 등 안동 주요사업 현장을 방문해 현지 의정활동을 펼쳤다고 26일 밝혔다.

이날 현장 방문은 주요 현안 사업 현장을 방문해 사업 진행 상황과 향후 추진계획에 대해 점검하고, 이를 통해 발전적 정책대안을 모색하고자 마련됐다.

위원들은 이날 임청각 복원사업 현장에 이어 엄마까투리 야영장, 상상놀이터 조성사업 현장, 유교랜드 등을 연이어 방문해 현지 관계자로부터 추진상황을 보고받았다.

임태섭 위원장은 “임청각은 대한민국 독립운동가의 산실과도 같은 존재”라며 “독립운동사에서 임청각이 갖는 역사적 가치와 의미를 잘 부각해 석주 이상룡 선생의 생애와 위대한 업적을 기릴 수 있는 의미 있는 장소로 만들어달라”고 주문했다.
