포스코는 19일 오전 3시 복구작업을 중단하고 풍수해 종합상황실을 중심으로 전직원이 긴장하며 태풍에 대비하고 있다.
포스코는 18일 포항제철소 냉천 제방 유실부위 긴급 보강(복구구간 56m, 물막이용 대형백), 수전변전소 침수 예방조치, 공장내 침수우려 개소 방수벽 배치 등 사전 조치를 완료했다.
또한, 강풍에 대비하기 위해 태풍 힌남노로 파손된 구조물과 폐자재를 결속하고 소방관 및 협력사등의 임시 천막을 철거했으며 간이 화장실등 임시 구조물 결속 상태 점검도 완료했다.
포스코는 직원 및 협력직원들의 안전을 위해 태풍 피크 시간대에는 출입문 접근 및 옥외 활동을 절대 금지하고, 감전위험이 큰 침수지역 및 발전기 주변 접근 금지, 상습침수지역 차량주차 금지 및 인원 통제도 실시하고 있다.
포스코는 금일 오후 난마돌 통과 이후 시설물 재점검 등을 통해 안전을 재확인하고 포항제철소 복구작업을 재개할 계획이다.
19일 현재, 압연공장중 3전기강판공장이 정상적으로 제품을 생산하고 있으며, 1냉연 1소둔라인은 설비복구를 완료하고 시운전을 통한 설비테스트를 진행중이어서 9월말까지 2전기강판공장과 1냉연공장이 정상가동에 돌입할 예정이다.
