지난 1일 안동시의회는 이태원 참사로 인한 애도 분위기가 확산됨에 따라 긴급회의를 열어 이같이 결정했다.

권기익 안동시의회 의장은 "이태원 참사로 인한 사상자와 가족께 깊은 애도와 위로를 전한다"라며 "예정된 국내외 일정을 취소하고 사고 수습과 대책 마련에 힘을 모으겠다"고 말했다.
