【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=더불어민주당 경북도당 청년위원회(위원장 김기현)가 ‘청년 대변인 학교’를 개설하고 청년 일꾼 양성과 정치역량 강화에 나선다고 14일 밝혔다.

청년위원회는 지난 13일 첫 일정으로 입학식과 함께 이관후 박사를 초청해 ‘유권자 지형분석 및 민주당이 가야할 길’을 주제로 강의를 진행했다.

또한 오는 20일 구미 플라타너스에서 천용길 뉴스민 대표가 2강 ‘대변인의 기본, 신속 정확한 현안 대응 방법’을 주제로 강의하고 27일에는 3강 ‘사회적 글쓰기’, 23년 1월3일 4강 ‘언론/미디어를 활용한 정치’, 1월 8일 5강 ‘토론의 성패, 객관적 분석과 평가’를 주제로 강의를 이어갈 계획을 전했다.

1강에서 강의에 나선 이관후 박사는 영국 런던대학교(UCL) 정치학 박사, 전)국무총리실 소통메시지비서관을 거쳐 서강대학교 사회과학연구소 연구원으로 활동하고 있는 인물로 민주당 새로고침위원회 ‘이기는 민주당 어떻게 가능한가’를 발간해 주목을 받은 바 있다.

김기현 청년위원장은 “우리 청년들은 미래를 열어가는 주역임에도 정치 현장에서 밀려나 있다”며 “이번 대변인학교를 통해 스스로 정치역량을 키워가고 좀 더 미래지향적인 더불어민주당이 될 수 있도록 청년들이 주도적인 역할을 하자”고 말했다.
