군에 따르면 방역인프라 설치지원사업의 대상은 가축사육업 및 종축업의 허가를 받은 농가로서 축산법에 의해 허가된 가금·양돈농가이며, 올해 4억6,810만 원의 사업비를 투입해 관내 가금 21농가, 양돈 10농가가 지원대상이다.

이번 사업의 지원항목은 가금농가는 터널식소독시설, CCTV, 방조망, 전실, 울타리, 폐사체처리시설 등이며, 양돈농가는 축산폐기물보관시설, CCTV, 차량 및 대인소독시설, 야생조류 퇴치기 등이다. 재원은 국·도비와 군비 등 보조가 60%, 자부담이 40%다.

이번 방역인프라시설 지원을 계기로 가금·양돈농가의 소독, 방역시설을 개선하고 이를 통해 질병 원인체가 유입되는 것을 원천 차단해 AI와 ASF 등 악성가축전염병을 최소화할 방침이다.

정승욱 농정축산과장은 “사료와 난좌 등 필수 기자재값 인상으로 어려운 시기에 방역시설에 투자하는 게 힘든 실정이지만, 관내에서도 언제든지 AI가 발생할 수 있고, 특히 최근 강원도와 경기도의 양돈농가 4호에서 ASF가 발생하고 우리 군에도 최근 야생멧돼지에서 11건의 ASF가 발생한 만큼 사업대상 농가는 조기에 방역인프라 설치지원사업을 완료해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
