고령군은 지난 28일 해군 고령함 함장(김지훈 소령)외 간부들이 고령군을 방문해 이남철 고령군수를 고령함 명예부대원으로 촉했다고 밝혔다.

이날 위촉식은 작년 12월 취임한 김지훈 고령함장과 고령군의 상견례를 겸하는 자리로 김명국 고령군의회 의장도 참석했다.

또한, 위촉식과 별개로 고령함 장병 10여명이 성산면에 소재한 성요셉재활원에 방문하여 청소 및 무거운 짐 옮기기 등 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

김지훈 고령함장은 “앞으로 고령군과 고령함이 지속적인 교류를 통하여서로 발전할 수 있었으면 좋겠다.”며 특히 오는 3월 31일부터 4월 2일까지 개최되는 2023 고령 대가야축제의 성공을 기원했다.

명예부대원으로 위촉된 이남철 고령군수는 평소에도 고령군 농특산품 홍보 및 쌍림면 독거노인의 지속적인 후원을 하고 있는 고령함에 감사의 말을 전하며 “오늘을 계기로 고령군과 고령함이 상호 우의증진과 지속적인 교류를 이어나갈 수 있도록 노력을 아끼지 않겠다.”고 답했다.
