 고령군(군수 이남철)에 따르면 지난 10일 이동완 씨의 하우스 4동 첫 출하를 시작으로 각 농가마다 출하를 시작됐으며 하우스감자는 노지감자에 비해 물량이 적어 직판장을 운영하지 않고 대구와 서울 공판장에 납품을 한다.

최근 거래 가격은 1박스(20kg) 당 특대 약 85,000원, 특 72,000원 선으로 작년 대비 10,000원 이상 비싸게 거래되고 있다.

올해 개진면 감자 총재배면적은 126ha(하우스 감자 25ha, 노지감자 101ha)로 이번 첫 출하를 시작으로 하우스 감자는 5월 중순까지, 노지감자는 5월말부터 6월말까지 출하될 것으로 예상된다.

권중수 개진면장은 “개진 하우스 감자는 청정한 지역특성과 비옥한 땅에서 재배되기 때문에 맛이 좋다”며 “농민들이 안정적으로 재배하고 판로를 확보할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
