대구 중구(구청장 류규하)가 주최하고, (사)달성문화선양회(회장 이준호)가 주관하는 이번 축제는 (구)대구백화점 앞 동성로28 아트스퀘어 메인무대에서 다양한 공연이 펼쳐진다.

또 CGV 한일에서 (구)중앙파출소 일원까지는 구간별로 특색 있는 거리행사가 펼쳐질 예정이다. 

오는 12일 첫날은 플리마켓(부스)가 운영되고 파워풀 페스티벌 전야제와 병행할 예정이며, 13일 개막식에서는 식전 댄스공연을 시작으로 동성로 가요제, 청소년 댄스대회, EDM파티, 싸이버거 흠뻑쇼 등 화려하고 볼거리 넘치는 무대행사가 진행된다.

특히 거리행사로 1구간 홍보·체험존(CGV 한일극장~(구)대구백화점)에서는 캐리커쳐, 디지털 드로잉체험, 페이퍼토이, 비누제작, 네일아트 등이 운영되고 2~3구간 판매·먹거리존(맥도날드~동성로관광안내소)에서는 밀키트 판매 및 기업홍보, 퍼스널컬러 진단, 각종 플리마켓, 달고나 체험 등 다양한 거리체험부스가 운영될 예정이다.

류규하 중구청장은 “34회를 맞은 동성로 축제를 통해 동성로를 찾는 모든 분들에게 재미와 매력을 선사하는 멋진 시간이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 했다.

In particular, as a street event, caricatures, digital drawing experiences, paper toys, soap making, nail art, etc. are operated in zone 1 (CGV Hanil Theater ~ (former) Daegu Department Store), and zones 2 and 3 are sales and food zones (McDonald's ~Dongseong-ro Tourist Information Center) will operate various street experience booths such as meal kit sales, corporate promotion, personal color diagnosis, various flea markets, and Dalgona experience.
