이날 전달식에는 배한철 의장을 비롯한 의장단과 정동의 경상북도 사회복지공동모금회 사무처장이 함께했으며, 집중호우 피해로 인한 이재민 지원 방안에 대해 다양한 의견도교환했다.

배 의장은 “뜻을 모아 모금한 성금이 집중호우 피해를 입은 우리지역의 꼭 필요한 곳으로 전달되어 어려움을 조금이나마 덜 수 있기를 바라며, 도의회에서도 도민이 행복한 경북을 위해 항상 함께 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
