김대일 위원장은 지난 6일 도청 안민관 다목적홀에서 근대문화유산 분야 전문가 및 관계공무원과 함께 ‘근대문화유산 재조명과 관광활성화 방안’정책토론회를 개최해 이같이 말했다.

이날 토론회는 경북도내에 산재해 있는 근대문화유산들의 유·무형 가치를 확대하기 위한 제도적 기틀을 마련하고, 이를 통한 관광자원화 및 관광활성화에 대해 전문가 등의 다양한 의견을 수렴하고 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

먼저 첫 번째 주제발표를 한, 손산문 회장(한국기독교사적협의회)은‘한국 근대사와 함께한 기독교 유산의 역사·문화적 가치와 활용방안’이라는 주제로, 기독교 역사 유산의 문화적 콘텐츠로 활용, 순례코스 네트워크 구축, 사회적 공공자산으로 보존 및 활용 등을 강조했다.
