【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항해양경찰서(서장 김지한)는 경주시 감포읍 인근 해상 갯바위에 고립된 낚시객을 구조했다고 10일 밝혔다.

포항해경은 지난 9일 오후 4시 22분쯤 경주시 감포읍 송대말 등대 인근 갯바위에서 낚시 중 타고 온 고무보트에 연결된 줄이 풀리며떠내려 가버려 고립되었다는 신고를 접수했다.

이에 감포파출소 연안구조정이 현장에 도착해 확인한 결과 갯바위에 구명조끼를착용한 채 고립된 낚시객 3명을 발견했다. 다행히 안전에는 이상이 없었고 고무보트는 인근 어장 부이 쪽에 멈춰 있었다.

구조정은 어장 가까이 접근하기 어려워 구조대원 2명이 입수해 고무보트로올라탔다.

고무보트는 작동에 이상이 없어 구조대원이 갯바위까지 조종해 가 낚시객에게 고무보트를 건네줬다.이들은연안구조정의 안전관리를 받으며 인근 항으로 안전하게 입항했다.

김지한 서장은 “육지와 연결되어 있지 않은 갯바위에서 낚시를 하던 중에 묶어두었던 줄이 풀려 레저기구를 놓치는 경우가 가끔 발생하는데, 기상까지 나쁘면매우 위험한 상황이 될 수 있으므로 각별히 주의해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
