【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회(의장 권기익)는 2월 21일 개회를 시작으로 27일까지 7일간 제246회임시회를 진행한다고 19일 밝혔다.

이번 임시회에서는 집행부가 추진하는 2024년도 주요업무계획에 대해 보고를 받고, 안동시정에 관한 질문과 답변을 들을 예정이다.

또한 집행부가 제출한 ‘안동시 시정조정위원회 조례 일부개정조례안’등 17건과 의원발의 조례 6건 등 총 23건의 안건이 상정될 예정이다.

특히 이번 임시회에서는 작년 지방자치법 개정 시행으로 지방의회에서 인사청문회를 열 수 있는 근거 규정이 마련된 이래로 안동시의회에서 인사청문회가 최초로 개최될 예정이다.

2월 19일 안동시시설관리공단 이사장에 대한 인사청문요청안이 의회에 접수되어 ‘안동시의회 인사청문회 조례’ 제3조의 규정에 따라 인사청문특별위원회가 구성되었으며, 이에 제1차 본회의에서 특별위원회 위원 선임이 있을 예정이다.
