【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회(의장 권기익)는 26일 안동JC(안동청년회의소) 및 대만 난터우시청년상회 회원 40여명이 우호 방문했다고 밝혔다.

이날 대만 난터우시청년상회 회원들은 안동시의회 2층 회의실에서 의장을 비롯한 의원들과 간담회를 가지고 의장의 안내로 의회 시설 곳곳을 둘러보며 의회 현황에 대한 자세한 설명을 청취했다.

대만 난터우시청년상회 증관우 회장은 “친절하게 환대해 주신 권기익 의장님을 비롯한 의원님들과 의회사무국 직원분들께 깊은 감사를 드린다”며, “앞으로 안동시의회와 돈독한 관계를 유지했으면 한다”라고 말했다.

이에 권기익 의장은 “이번 안동시의회에 방문을 환영하며, 상호 존중과 신뢰를 바탕으로 우호 교류가 지속되길 기대한다”라고 말했다.

한편, 안동JC는 대만 난터우시청년상회와 40년 가까운 교류협력 우호방문을 통해 정보교환 및 결속을 다지며, 매년 어린이날을 기념해 안동과 난터우시에서 각각 사생대회를 진행하는 등 지역 미래의 꿈나무들을 위한 사업도 함께 추진하고 있다.

   Chairman Jeung Kwan-woo of the Nantou City Youth Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan said, “I am deeply grateful to Chairman Kwon Ki-ik, other lawmakers, and the council secretariat staff for their kind hospitality. I hope to maintain a close relationship with Andong City Council in the future.”

   In response, Chairman Kwon Ki-ik said, “I welcome your visit to Andong City Council, and I hope that friendly exchanges will continue based on mutual respect and trust.”

   Meanwhile, Andong JC strengthens information exchange and solidarity with Taiwan's Nantou City Youth Chamber of Commerce through exchanges and cooperation and friendly visits for nearly 40 years, and holds drawing contests in Andong and Nantou cities respectively to commemorate Children's Day every year to encourage future dreamers in the region. We are also pursuing projects for this purpose.
