【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)은 대구시의 구․군 안전 시책 평가에서 2년 연속 최우수기관으로 선정됐다고 2일 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 구·군의 안전에 대한 의지와 재난 발생 대비 상황, 안전점검 활동 등 전반적인 안전시책 추진 상황을 확인하기 위해 진행됐다.

생활밀착형 안전시책 추진, 비상대비역량강화, 시설물의 선제적 안전관리, 재난대응 역량강화, 중대재해예방 역량강화 등 5개 분야로 진행됐다.

대구 동구는 행정안전부 공모사업 ‘읍면동 스마트 복지안전 통합관리 모델 구축사업’ 선정으로 생활밀착형 안전시책 추진에 높은 점수를 받았다.

특히 재난대응 안전한국훈련으로 재난 대응 역량 강화에 노력한 점과 CCTV 증설, 초례산 등산로 비상구급함 정비로 선제적 안전사고 예방에 기여한 점에서도 좋은 평가를 받았다.

윤석준 동구청장은 “구민의 안전을 위해 적극 노력한 결과, 2년 연속 최우수기관으로 선정되는 좋은 성과를 거둘 수 있었다. 앞으로도 구민 안전을 위해 더욱 매진하겠다.”고 말했다.
