【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국사학진흥재단 대학경영진단원(원장 우남규)이 한국대학평가원(원장 안세근), 고등직업교육평가인증원(원장 최준영)과 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

교육부는 지난해 3월, 2025학년도부터 대학 재정지원 기준을 한국사학진흥재단의 재정진단과 한국대학교육협의회(대교협), 한국전문대학교육협의회(전문대교협)의 기관평가인증 결과를 활용하도록 하는 대학 평가체제 개편방안을 확정했다.

이에 따라 재정진단과 기관평가인증을 수행하는 한국사학진흥재단 대학경영진단원, 한국대학평가원, 고등직업교육평가인증원은  협약을 통해 대학 평가체제의 안정적 정착을 도모하고, 대학 평가와 관련한 상호협력 및 활발한 교류를 하기로 약속했다.

협약의 내용은 ▶평가 기준, 절차, 결과 등 평가 추진에 관한 사항 ▶중장기 대학 평가체제 운영에 관한 사항 ▶평가제도 운영 지원에 관한 사항 등 대학 평가 전반에 관한 사항을 포함한다.

우남규 대학경영진단원장은 “대학 평가체제가 새로운 방향으로 전환하는 시기에 평가기관 간 협력적인 관계를 형성하고, 품질 높은 평가를 통한 건강한 고등교육 생태계 조성에 세 기구가 중지를 모았다는 점에서 매우 뜻 깊다”며 “앞으로도 지속가능하고 경쟁력 있는 대학을 만들어가기 위해 활발한 대화를 이어나가고 대학을 위한 실질적이고 폭넓은 지원 방안을 모색해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
