이번 안전 캠페인은 본격적인 나들이와 행사, 농번기를 맞이해 각종 사고를 예방하고 시민들의 안전의식 제고를 위해 경산지역 내 공설시장3개소와 초등학교, 읍면동 등에서 릴레이로 진행된다.

생활 안전사고의 종류와 예방 방법, 농기계 안전사고 예방 방법, 시민안전보험, 교통안전 옐로카드, 화재 대피용 마스크 등의 홍보물 배부와 재난안전신문고 앱·포털이용방법 등을 중점적으로 홍보한다.

특히 어린이 교통사고 예방을 위해 초등학생들에게 운전자들이 어린이를쉽게 알 수 있도록 빛 반사형 옐로카드를 배부하고, 농기계 사용자들에게 농기계 안전사고 예방을 위해 농기계 안전 취급 요령과 운전 중 부주의 예방을 집중적으로 홍보할 예정이다.

도병환 안전총괄과장은 “4월은 기온이 따뜻해지면서 안전사고에 대한경각심이 낮아질 수 있는 만큼 안전문화운동을 집중적으로 진행해 안전사고를 예방하겠다. 아울러 시민들의 적극적인 동참으로 안전한 도시 경산을 만드는데 함께 해 줄 것을 바란다”고 했다.

이번 안전문화운동 국민안전주간 캠페인은 경산시 안전모니터봉사단, 경산시 안전문화운동추진 경산시협의회 등 경산지역 안전문화운동 단체회원 300여 명이 참여한다.
