한국산업기술진흥원(이하 ‘KIAT’)에서 전담 관리하는 국가기술거래 플랫폼 서비스 사업은 온(NTB)‧오프라인(기술사업화지원센터) 기술거래 플랫폼 구축을 통한 R&D 결과물 활용 및 효과성 제고로 기술이전‧사업화 활성화를 목적으로 2024년 올해 처음 진행한 사업이다.

경북TP는 ‘국가기술거래 플랫폼 이차전지 기술사업화지원센터 구축 및 운영’ 과제를 통해 국내 이차전지 산업의 기술거래, 기술혁신, 기술 컨설팅, 투자 연계 등 기능을 통합한 기술이전 지원체계를 구축할 예정이다.

본 사업의 선정으로 3년 동안 총 약 38억원(국비 18억원, 지방비 16억원, 기관부담금 4억원)이 이차전지 산업 기술거래 활성화를 위해 투입된다.

경북TP 주관으로 진행하는 본 사업은 참여기관 포항테크노파크, 울산테크노파크, ㈜아이피온, ㈜티비즈, ㈜유에이드를 비롯하여 전국의 우수 이차전지 기술을 보유한 대학‧연구소와 협력을 통해 이차전지 및 연계 유망산업의 기술 사업화에 앞장선다.

경상북도와 경북TP는 일찍이 이차전지가 미래산업 생태계의 중요 산업임을 인지하고 국가전략산업으로 이차전지 산업을 육성하기 위하여 ‘이차전지종합관리센터’를 2021년 8월에 구축하였으며, 그간 2019년 중기부 규제자유특구 차세대 배터리 리사이클링 규제 자유특구 운영을 통하여 국내 최초, 최대 4년 연속 운영성과평가 우수특구로 지정되었다.

특히 해당 사업을 통해 이차전지 기술이전 수요를 바탕으로 기업의 신규 사업 아이템 개발을 촉진하고, 진성 수요 기술에 적합한 전주기적 기술이전 시스템의 확산에 기여, 이차전지 기업의 기술 경쟁력 강화가 기대된다.
