【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회 문화복지정책연구회(이하‘연구회’)는 지난 16일부터 18일까지 3일간 의정능력 함양과 정책대안 모색을 위해 타 지자체 우수사례 비교견학을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

22일 안동시의회에 따르면 우창하 회장을 비롯한 연구회 회원과 의회사무국 직원 12명이 스마트·무장애 관광 우수사례 도시인 인천광역시와 안산시를 방문했다.

16일에는 인천시 개항장 일대를 방문하여‘스마트 관광도시 조성 사업’에 대한 설명을 듣고, AR·VR 등 첨단기술이 접목된 스마트관광을 체험했다.

인천시는 2020년 문화체육관광부 ‘스마트관광도시 조성사업’에 선정된 도시로, ‘인천e지’라는 스마트폰 앱과 지역 관광자원을 연동해 시공간을 초월한 관광 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

17일에는 안산 대부도에 위치한 ‘바다향기수목원’을 방문하여 무장애 숲길을 견학했다.

‘무장애숲길’은 경사도를 8% 이하로 낮추고 길의 폭을 1.5m 이상으로 넓혀 보행약자가 불편 없이 휠체어나 유모차로 자유롭게 숲을 이용할 수 있도록 조성한 길을 말한다.

연구회 회원들은 30만 평에 이르는 수목원을 360。 VR 파노라마 영상으로 미리 투어 한 후 현장을 방문했다.

우창하 회장은 “안동시는 다양한 문화유산과 자연경관, 축제 등 관광자원의 보고(寶庫)임에도 불구하고, 물리적·심리적 접근성이 높지 않다”며 “이번 스마트·무장애 관광도시 비교견학은 지속가능한 관광생태계를 조성하는데 아이디어를 얻는 좋은 기회였다”고 밝혔다.
