지난달 29일부터 30일까지 성주군 가족센터 및 성주군 일원에서는 수륜중 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 자유학기제를 활용한 진로체험 활동이 실시됐다.

활동 첫째날은 성주군 가족센터에서 다른 나라 음식을 직접 만들기를 통해 세계 각국의 문화를 이해하는 시간을 가졌다. 또한 인공지능을 활용한 레시피북 제작을 통해 미래 기술의 활용에 대한 방법도 배우며 문화적 호기심 및 기술적 능력을 키웠다.

둘째날에는 경제의 기본 원리를 배우고, 가상의 경제 활동을 직접 체험하며 경제적 사고 능력을 키웠다. 또한 합리적인 소비와 효율적인 자산 관리에 대한 중요성을 깨달으며 미래의 경제적 독립성과 책임감을 갖추는 데 필요한 역량을 키우는 시간이 이어졌다.

이와 함께 성주문화예술회관 전시관람 및 성주역사테마공원 등 지역 문화 탐방을 통해 지역에 대한 관심도를 높이고 다양한 직업군을 만날 수 있는 활동이 진행됐다. 

체험활동에 참가한 1학년 김병훈 학생은 “진로체험활동에 참가하며 다양한 직업에 대해 알 수 있었다”며 “진로에 대해 더욱 깊이 생각할 수 있었고, 꿈을 향해 한 걸음 더 나아가는 소중한 경험을 얻었다”며 소감을 전했다.
