【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=(사)대경ICT산업협회는 11일 한국영상정보연구조합과영상정보산업 육성 사업 공동 수행을 통한 ICT산업 발전을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

한국영상정보연구조합은 영상정보산업의 성장 발전에 기여할 목적으로 산업기술연구조합육성법에 따라 2008년 설립된 비영리법인으로, 물리보안산업 활성화를 지원하는 대표적인 단체로 자리매김하고 있다.

이번 업무협약 행사에서는 (사)대경ICT산업협회(DGICT)와 한국영상정보연구조합(KIIA)및 각 회원사 소개 등 간담회, 협약서 서명으로 진행됐다.

협약의 내용은 기술과제의 상호협동 해결, 공동발전을 위한 정책지원 및 네트워크 구축, 지능형CCTV 등 영상정보산업 육성 사업 공동 수행, 공동협력에 필요한 각 기관의 정보와 자료공유, 그 외 상호협력에 필요한 사항 등이다.

(사)대경ICT산업협회박윤하 회장은 환영사에서 “AI, 블록체인, 빅데이터(ABB) 산업의 중심인 영상정보 분야 업계 협력 강화, 산업 발전을 위해 노력 하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

이에 한국영상정보연구조합서병일 이사장은 “이번 업무협약을 통한 업계 공동 협력 증진으로 영상정보 산업발전을 기대한다.”는 답사로 양 기관의 상호협력 체계 구축을 위한 첫 발판을 마련했다.
