【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE(와이즈)캠퍼스(총장 류완하)는 간호대학 간호학과가 보건복지부 지원 ‘2024년 간호대학 실습교육 지원사업’ 수행기관으로 선정됐다고 11일 밝혔다.

‘간호대학 실습교육 지원사업’은 보건복지부의 간호대학 임상실습 및 실기교육 강화를 위한 재정지원사업으로, 2024년 4월 공모 신청, 1차 서면심사, 2차 대면심사를 통해 동국대 WISE캠퍼스를 비롯한 전국 14개 대학이 선정됐다.

사업 기간은 올해 6월부터 12월까지이며, 사업비는 대학마다 4억원을 지원받는다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스 간호학과는 ‘경북 동부권역 교육 소외와 의료격차 완화를 위한 시뮬레이션 허브 구축’을 비전으로, 실제 임상과 유사한 상황에 몰입하여 학습할 수 있는 최첨단 환경인 (가칭)Wisdom Integrated Simulation Education 센터(The WISE 센터)를 구축한다.

이를 통해 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 간호대학생뿐만 아니라 의과대학, 한의과대학, 임상간호사, 지역사회간호사, 지역 대학 교원 및 간호대학생 등을 대상으로 임상 역량 및 재난대응 역량 강화를 위한 교육을 제공할 예정이다.

백설향 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 간호대학장은 “본 사업을 계기로 전문직간 융합 교육 및 가상 병원 기반 교육 프로그램 도입을 통해 급변하는 지역사회의 건강 기대에 부응하는 최첨단 시설을 갖춘 교육기관으로 새롭게 도약하겠다”고 밝혔다.

동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 간호대학 간호학과는 경북 최초 4년제 대학 간호학과로, 2022년 4주기 한국간호교육평가원의 학사학위프로그램 5년 인증을 받은 우수한 교육과정을 갖추고 있다.

또한 2개의 부속병원과 협조하여 높은 수준의 임상실습교육을 유지하며 지역 사회 가치 실현에 앞장서는 인재를 양성하고 있다.
