3일 포항해경에 따르면 이번 구명조끼 착용 캠페인은 안전벨트 착용률 83% 대비 미비한 14%의구명조끼 착용률을 높이기 위해 국민 일상에 자연스럽게 인식하고 실천될 수있도록 마트, 은행, 교육기관 등 공공장소 출입구에 구명조끼 스티커를 부착하여 의미를 전달한다.
