이날 규탄성명서를 통해 박성만 경상북도의회 의장은 “독도는 역사적․지리적․국제법적으로 명백한 대한민국 고유 영토”임을 강조하며 “영토주권에 대한 일본의 어떠한 도발에 대해서도 결코좌시 하지 않고 260만 도민과 함께 단호하고 엄중하게 대응할 것”임을 분명하게 밝혔다.
