이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 지자체-대학 간 글로컬대학30 보건 인재 양성 교육의 상호협력, 대구광역시 북구 주민을 위한 평생직업교육 개발·운영과 활성화, 지·산·학 보건의료 융합 발전을 위한 상호협력 등을 약속했다.

남성희 대구보건대학교 총장은 “우리 대학은 북구청과 협력해 지역주민을 위한 평생직업교육을 적극적으로 개발하고 운영할 계획”이며 “앞으로 지자체와 대학 간의 협력을 통한 보건의료 분야의 융합 발전을 촉진해 지역사회에 실질적인 도움이 되는 인재를 양성하겠다”고 말했다.
