대가야생활촌은 기존 설치된 물놀이터 외에도 에어바운스, 슬라인드 풀을 추가 설치하고, 주말 동안에는 물총놀이 등 이벤트를 실시하여 가족 모두가 함께 즐기고 재미가 넘치는 여름을 제공한다.

운영시간은 10시부터 16시 40분까지로 매시간 정각 40분 운영·20분 휴식으로 운영되며, 월요일은 휴장한다.

대가야생활촌에서는 물놀이장 이외에도 다양한 꽃과 조화로운 조경으로 관광객에게 볼거리를 제공하며 특히 만개한 해바라기와 라임라이트를 배경으로 한 사진촬영은 아름다운 여름을 추억하기에 제격이다.

해당 기간 동안 기와마을과 초가마을로 이루어진 대가야생활촌 숙박시설(한기촌)을 함께 이용하면 대가야생활촌의 멋진 전경과 프로그램들을 더욱 알차게 이용할 수 있다.

이남철 고령군수는 ‘무더운 여름, 시원한 물놀이와 체험 등 가족단위 관광객을 위한 프로그램들이 다양하게 준비되어 있다. 여름방학을 맞아 고령에서 즐거운 추억을 만들어 가길 바란다.’고 전했다.

한편, 대가야생활촌 내에 위치한 고령어린이과학체험관에서는 물놀이 기간 동안 물로켓·배만들기 등 연계 행사를 통해 관광객들에게 체험활동도 제공할 예정이다.
