【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시의회(의장 김일만)는 31일 오전 제2차 본회의에서 안건을 처리하고 제317회 임시회를 폐회했다고 밝혔다.

이날 본회의에 앞서 정원석 의원은 5분 자유발언을 통해 포항만의 차별성과 정체성을 담은 도시브랜드 개발의 필요성과 중요성을 강조하고, 김영헌 의원은 증가하는 해파리 출현에 따른 피해상황과 문제점을 제기하고, 해파리 수매사업 추진을 위한 포항시의 적극적인 지원을 촉구했다.

김성조 의원은 야당 소속 의원들의 참여 보장을 위한 포항시의회 교섭단체 구성과 운영에 관한 조례제정을 요구했으며, 김형철 의원은 동해 심해 가스전 개발 관련 지역발전을 위한 선제적 방안 마련을 주문했다.

김상백 의원은 호국 메모리얼 파크 건립 필요성을 강조하며 호국영령 추모공간 마련을 위한 포항시의 적극적인 노력과 지원을 촉구하고, 양윤제 의원은 지역 음식물류 폐기물의 안정적인 처리를 위한 음식물류 폐기물류 처리시설의 조속한 설치를 주문했다.

본회의에서는 ‘포항시 승차구매점 교통안전 관리 조례안’, ‘포항시 여성의 경제활동 촉진과 경력단절 예방에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안, ‘포항시 아이누리센터 설치 및 운영 조례안’, ‘용한서퍼비치 민간위탁(재계약) 동의안’, ‘포항시 도시관리계획(공원) 결정(변경)(안)에 대한 의견제시의 건 등 총 8건의 안건을 의결했다.
