지난 7일부터 9일까지 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에서 국방 기반의 모바일, 해양 및  ICT 융합 기술과 관련한 다양한 성과 등을 발표하는 국제 학술대회 ICMIC(The International Conference on Mobile·Military·Maritime IT Convergence)가 개최됐다.

금오공대 ICT융합특성화연구센터 소속 김동성 센터장과 산제 바르드와즈(Sanjay Bhardwaj) 박사는 ‘Federated Learning-Based Joint Radar-Communication mm Wave Beamtracking for V2X-Communications(V2X 통신을 위한 연합학습 기반 공동 레이더 통신 mm파 빔 추적)’ 논문으로 최우수논문상에 선정됐다.

김동성 센터장과 국립금오공대 스마트군수혁신융합연구센터 소속의 류원재 박사는 ‘Short-Packet Based Power Allocation Using Quantum Neural Network in Downlink NOMA Systems for Military Communication(군사 통신을 위한 다운링크 NOMA 시스템에서 양자 신경망을 사용한 단패킷 기반 전력 할당)’ 논문으로 우수논문상을 수상했다.

김동성 ICT융합특성화연구센터장은 “ICT융합특성화연구센터는 국방 ICT 분야에 적용 가능한 ICT 특성화 연구와 더불어 특수 환경을 고려해야하는 산업용, 선박용 등의 ICT 기술 개발 등을 추진하고 있으며, 앞으로 보다 다양한 국제 협력 및 공동연구 등을 통해 ICT 융합 분야를 선도할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

The Kumoh National Institute of Technology ICT Convergence Specialization Research Center (Director Dong-seong Kim) announced that its researchers won the Best Paper Award and Excellent Paper Award at the ‘2024 ICMIC International Conference’.

The International Conference on Mobile, Military, and Maritime IT Convergence (ICMIC), an international academic conference that presented various achievements related to defense-based mobile, marine, and ICT convergence technologies, was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from the 7th to the 9th.

Director Dong-seong Kim and Dr. Sanjay Bhardwaj of the Kumoh National Institute of Technology ICT Convergence Specialization Research Center were selected for the Best Paper Award for their paper ‘Federated Learning-Based Joint Radar-Communication mm Wave Beamtracking for V2X-Communications’.

Director Kim Dong-seong and Dr. Ryu Won-jae of the Smart Military Innovation Convergence Research Center at Kumoh National Institute of Technology received the Outstanding Paper Award for their paper, ‘Short-Packet Based Power Allocation Using Quantum Neural Network in Downlink NOMA Systems for Military Communication.’

Director Kim Dong-seong of the ICT Convergence Specialization Research Center said, “The ICT Convergence Specialization Research Center is promoting ICT specialized research applicable to the defense ICT field, as well as the development of ICT technologies for industrial and shipbuilding applications that require consideration of special environments. We will strive to lead the ICT convergence field through more diverse international cooperation and joint research in the future.”
