【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원) 황주호 사장이 3일 경남 창원에 위치한 협력기업㈜삼홍기계를 방문했다.

4일 한수원에 따르면 1995년 설립된 ㈜삼홍기계는 오랜 산업기계 부품 제작 노하우를 바탕으로 선박 엔진에서부터 SMR(소형모듈원자로), 국제 핵융합 실험로 분야에 이르기까지다양한 제품군을 생산하는 원전 부품 및 가공설비 제작 강소기업이다.

이날 황 사장은 ㈜삼홍기계에서 원자력 발전소 관련핵심 부품 제조 및 국제 핵융합 실험로의 열 차폐체 제작 과정을 살펴봤다. 또, 임직원들과 소통 간담회를 개최하고, 체코 우선협상대상자 선정 기념 및 어려운 기간 동안 묵묵히 원전산업에 종사해 준 임직원들에게 감사의 의미를 담아 푸드트럭인 ‘행복충전소’를 통해 식사를 대접했다.

행복충전소는 원전 기업의 사기 진작과 지역 소상공인 매출 증대를 동시에 달성할 수 있는 윈윈(win-win)형 상생협력 사업으로, 한수원은 앞으로 원전 메카인 경남창원, 경주 지역의 푸드트럭이 해당 지역의 원전 관련 기업으로 찾아가도록 지원할 예정이다.

황주호 한수원 사장은 “뛰어난 기술력과 품질관리 시스템을 갖춘 기업들이 더욱 많이 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 적극 지원할 예정”이라며, “이를 통해 K-원전의 글로벌 경쟁력이 더 도약하길 기대한다”라고 말했다.

 Hanwha Solutions Launches Food Truck to Boost SMEs Related to SMR

President Hwang Joo-ho of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) visited Samhong Machinery Co., Ltd., a partner company located in Changwon, Gyeongnam Province, on the 3rd.

According to KHNP on the 4th, Samhong Machinery Co., Ltd., established in 1995, is a nuclear power plant parts and processing equipment manufacturing powerhouse that produces a variety of products ranging from ship engines to SMR (small modular reactors) and international fusion reactors based on its long-standing know-how in manufacturing industrial machinery parts.

On this day, President Hwang inspected the manufacturing process of core parts related to nuclear power plants and heat shields for the international fusion reactor at Samhong Machinery Co., Ltd. In addition, he held a communication meeting with employees and treated them to a meal at the food truck “Happiness Charging Station” to commemorate the selection of the Czech Republic as the preferred bidder and to express his gratitude to the employees who have been quietly working in the nuclear power industry during difficult times.

The Happiness Charging Station is a win-win, mutually beneficial cooperation project that can simultaneously boost the morale of nuclear power companies and increase sales of local small business owners. In the future, KHNP will support food trucks in the nuclear power mecca of Gyeongnam, Changwon, and Gyeongju to visit nuclear power-related companies in the region.

KHNP President Hwang Joo-ho said, “We will actively support companies with excellent technology and quality management systems to grow even more,” and added, “We hope that through this, K-nuclear power’s global competitiveness will leap forward even further.”
